PICTS — Poverty Intervention Charity Transforming Scotland — is a volunteer‑driven organisation dedicated to restoring dignity, stability, and hope for individuals and families across Scotland. Formerly known as the Knights Templar Goodwill Charity of Scotland, we have evolved into a modern, inclusive charity rooted in compassion, community, and practical action.
Founded in March 2021, PICTS - Poverty Intervention Charity Transforming Scotland has been serving our communities for almost 5 years. We exist to make a lasting, positive impact in the lives of people facing poverty, homelessness, isolation, and hardship. Our volunteers are the heart of our mission, providing the momentum that turns vision into meaningful change. Every project we deliver is shaped by respect, human connection, and the belief that everyone deserves to feel valued.
Through our community‑centred services — including our Veterans, Homeless & Community Hub in Cowdenbeath, our veteran‑led support space, and our dedicated Outreach Team — we offer essentials, meals, clothing, care packs, wellbeing support, and a safe place to belong. Whether someone needs practical help, a listening ear, or a fresh start, we are here without judgment or barriers.
PICTS is committed to building stronger, more resilient communities across Scotland. With your support, we can continue to expand our reach, deepen our impact, and ensure that no one faces hardship alone.
